OT: What is the point of the OT notation?
To me this is a community of like-minded people and anytime something that someone posts encourages good conversation, what does it matter? I have gotten some really positive feedback about the past couple conversation starter threads I've put out there and I don't want to worry I'm offending anyone by failing to notate it as OT. I frequently feel like what I am writing about might be considered off topic to some, but I'm not exactly sure what constitutes the off topic tag, so any insight would be most appreciated.
Now this is not to say I will appropriately tag all my posts, but at least I'll know when I'm breaking the law! :)
Thanks,
Denise

Other people just want to advertise taht their topic has nothing whatsoever to do with WLS and therefore those who open the message will be prepared for a question about their dog, their taxes, their mother-in-law or something else not directly related to WLS

I'm doing good.... sometimes I'm up to 6 hours between pain pills which is pretty good when they're every 3 hours as needed.... I'm trying to cut back so that I can return to work without taking many (any?) pain pills. Next week doc will refill with a lower dosage of pain meds, and I might be back to every four hours, but might not. I think that in the end, it will have been a good decision to have this surgery, but it's hard to not be impatient....and at the same timeI'm trying to "enjoy" my extended vacation!
