lovenox
It costs a LOT... My insurance only covered it through a mail order pharmacy and my copay was $77, which was close to 10% I believe...
I have no ideas on where you could get it cheaper, but if there is any chance your insurance will cover it, you should try to get them to! :D
Hopefully someone else will know a better source to get it from!!
Huggles!!

They gave me everything at the hospital... so I have no idea how much it was. Still waiting for the bill. But I am HORRIBLY bruised from the stupid injections. Hope you have better luck!

It all depends how much it will cost based on your insurance.
Everyone at my surgeon's office was prepping me for a gianormous co-pay for my Lovenox but it was only $10.00 believe it or not!
My co-pay for my insulin was more ($75.00) and on top of that my wife one evening threw away one of the vials of the insulin by mistake! Fortunately, there were 2 in the script and I only needed it sliding scale for about 3 weeks after surgery.
Check with your prescription program and if it's in your formulary it probably won't be too bad.
Regardless of the cost make sure you get the script filled and adhere to it! If you need help getting it filled talk with your team about it. This stuff is pretty much a "wonder drug" and you don't want to increase your risk of a blood clot by not having and taking it.
Take Care!
