how do i post pics?

I am trying to post some pics as a post but cant figure out how to....any advice?

First, I open a second window and open OH in that window so it's running in two windows.
Then I upload some pics onto the photo album here.
I find the photo I want in my post and I copy it.
Then I paste it into the body of the post. I have found that this usually works when I start a thread or when I reply to a post. It won't work if I don't reply to a post.
I hope that makes sense.
