I know peole have asked about this topic before, but I need to also
O.k., so I'm about to place a pretty large order and I know some of the things I want to order, but I want some help from my OH peeps!! I know I want some Nectar, so I'll have a good source of protein in a drink form. I also need an unflavored protein. Lots of people say unjury is the best, but some say its nasty. Theres nothing else from unjury that I what anyway, so what is your favorite unflavored protein powder. I have found a birthday cake batter powder that I cant wait to order. I also want to know about favorite vanilla protein brands. I have found I do better with vanilla. I am not much on chocolate, but would love to have a iced caramel coffee shake. I've been on Bariatric Foodie and checked Nik out some. I also want to know what are your favorite flavor of SF syrups are. I dont like banana, strawberry, cherry, hazelnut, irish cream, anything with mint flavor in it, etc. And when I get these syrups what do I do with themn except use them in shakes? Anyway, everybody tell me everything about what's in your WLS kitchen ,powders, and syrups. I also want to know what are your favorite things to do with them. I like very simple things not too many ingrediants and mainly blender, spoons, forks, knives, bowls, plates, I will boil water if I have too. I want to here from everybody
I have used the Pure brand unflavord protein and have found it to be quite good. I've used it in soups and in oatmeal, even coffee!
If you like coffee, definitely check out Click Protein powder. I mix in a scoop of Click, a scoop of Vanilla (Optimum Nutrition), a squirt of SF chocolate syrup and some SF Torani Caramel or Vanilla syrup. Throw a little milk and/or water and ice and you've got a super high protein mocha frappucino!
I like both the Isoure vanilla and the Optimum Nutrition vanilla. Syntha6 is supposed to be good, however I prefer a protein with less calories.
In terms of syrups, I love raspberry, lemon, vanilla and caramel. I also just tried a brown sugar cinnamon from Torani which was awesome in my oatmeal this morning.
Hope this helps and good luck!

I tried the unjury unflavored(sample) and it was good. I couldnt taste it at all. I do have vanilla chocolate and chocolate peanutbutter Body Fortress protein (saw it on BF) and I love the vanilla and chocolate not to crazy about the choco peanutbutter.
I have a few of the syrups but have yet to use them. I know I have seem people use them in yougurt, oatmeal shakes and when they make protein ice cream(which I cant wait to do).
I just got my 13 samples from Nectar am going to try one or two tomorrow and see how I like them. I figured samples was the best choice so I don't get stuck with a huge amount of it if I don't like it.

I've never used unflavored protein so I can't help you there but I do love my sugar free syrups. I probably have between 20 and 30. I don't know what is available to you but I love the English Toffee, Almond Roca, Dulce le Leche, Cookie Dough, Macademia Nut and Caramel is a must have. I use them in my shakes and herbal teas and decaf coffee.
One thing you have to try if you haven't already is Nik's Salted Caramel Dessert. Couldn't be easier, even for me. Just a cup of sugar free caramel pudding, some salt and cinnamon, some fat free or sugar free whipped topping and some sugar free caramel sauce. I have had it every night in the last week.

a tip for your vanilla protein powder. my NUT told me if for some reason i am in the mood for a chocolate protein shake, don't buy a vanilla and a tub of chocolate protein powder. you can buy the hershey hot cocoa powder the no sugar one and mix that into the vanilla protein powder to get the chocolate flavor. that's just an idea for you incase you want chocolate at any time. as far as unflavored protein powder i haven't bought mine yet but i think im gonna go with the unjury.
do you have a link to the cake batter protein powder i am interested in that 1!

Man do not order all that stuff I did and gave it all away! including the unjury, NASTY!
My favorite protein drink is still the EAS CarbAdvantage, I buy them in cases at Sam's club, 24 of them for about 25 bucks...........110 calories and 17 grams of protein each, pour them over ice. I love the chocolate fudge and buy the french vanilla for something different............always wanted to order off the website for the caramel flavor just have never taken the time. I buy the RTD no mixing and ready to go, the powder is ok but it is never as smooth as the RTD.
