Nice to see another "old timer"

Just had surgery on my tailbone (removal) and have decided I never EVER want to have surgery again. Each time it's worse, I am just phobic about goin under....seriously. Not to mention the PAIN.... I malabsorb pain meds bad, so I think next time I'd ask for Fentanyl patches so I wouldn't have to worry about malabsorption.

I think people who do plastics aer BRAVE. I'd rather be melted frankenblob than have the pain and surgery!

Well I am actually looking forward to the surgery, I know crazy, but I am ready to lose the udder and mini-udder, I think I actually don't feel like myself since I didn't have some form of surgery last year, LMAO, RNY, GallBladder, foot surgery, hysterectomy and then did you know I had a kidney stone two days before I got married!  Seriously, now I feel rested and I have Bill and I am so ready! I think the LBL will be the true ***** I have heard but it will make the biggest difference in how I feel about the skinnage,  the cat wings and chesticles  should then be a breeze after that right!

If I do anything it will be a breast lift/reduction....since I've already had breast surgery, I know sort of what to expect.

But not for a while..... like not until I win the lottery!

Go for it!!!  My insurance only covers 80% of the cost,  I wish I only had $1400 to pay. You'll also have time to fully recover and then find another job with a new start to your new life.

I agree!  Go for the surgery...collect unemployment..the heck with the 1400 dollar bill for now...and just dont answer the collection calls... and take the time to recover while searching for a new job....I am sorry you are losing your job...what a bummer :-(

I think as long as the insurance will cover it, or most of it, go for it. If you are already scheduled, that means you've gone through a lot of pre-op. You've come too far to not go all the way if you truly want your WLS.

Good luck! ( and sorry about your job)
Hugs,
Carly

I agree! I would hate to stop the process only to have to redo the whole thing once I found a new job with benefits that may or may not even cover the surgery! I saw take advantage of your insurance while you can. Plus, most hospitals will set you up on a payment plan...

Carly- I noticed we have the same Dr., how is your recovery? I think I am having the RNY at the end of next month barring any insurance problems....
