Makes sense.  I do measure everything.  Don't want to get sick and so far I've been lucky.  I'll just keep measuring & not worry about getting the full feeling.  Thanks for the advice.

Had surgey in December 2009 and I have never, ever felt "full." Never got the full feeling on any stages. I can eat and eat and eat .. IT.REALLY.SUCKS.
Best of luck to you! I hope you get the full feeling when you progress to your next stages

Yep, I hope I get the full feeling too.  I ate a boiled egg and some fat-free refried beans tonight and I did get a sharp pain feeling in my breastbone area...kind of a feeling of "tightness".  Perhaps I was trying to eat too much tonight.  Don't know, but that was the first sign or CUE of feeling full.  So perhaps I do have a full feeling in my pouch but I've never pushed it that far.  I do try to adhere to the rules of measuring my foods/portions and not drinking with my meals.  Hopefully I will get a full feeling once I start eating solid foods again.

For me 1st month was full liquid and 2nd month was puree.  I could have 2 oz at a time.  You eat 2 oz and then  you stop.  Your pouch and intestines incisions are still healing.  You don't want to overstretch them - they can cause a leak and it can be serious.

You won't feel full because of nerves cut during surgery.  It can take weeks to months for them to heal.

That is why the progression of food consistency and quantity.  Don't eat more than your plan recommends.  Eat protein - that is what our body needs.  I still have protein powder twice a day at 2 yrs out, because my labs show low normal protein levels.

You will have plenty of time to eat more when you are further out.  Just be patient.

Great advice.  Makes sense.  I suppose the nerves being cut could have alot to do with it.  I don't feel hunger either so that will likely come back sometime too.  Right now it's soooo nice not to feel hungry and only eat when I am supposed to eat.  I'm happy with not having the full feeling.  I just didn't know if I was supposed to get that feeling or not.  I stop after eating my 1/2 cup of food as directed by my doctor but I have a feeling I might be able to eat more than 1/2 cup but I don't.  Thanks for your advice/comments.  I appreciate your response.
