So I have been home since Friday.  I have been miserable ever since.  However today I feel just a bit better.  I had to eat some breakfast so i had a half container of greek plain yogourt with Pollamer SF All Fruit Strawberry preserves and a half a packet of splenda.  It was fabulous.  I plan on having some refried brans and pepperoni chips for lunch.  I also had the first infamous BM.  I was scared to death.  Afraid it would make me strain and hurt my belly.  But since my belly is empty it was effortless.  Iknow TMI.  But what the heck. And how come there are vvirtually no men in here.  I know they have surgery also.  I guess its a pride thing.  I want to go out today.  Maybe my mom will take me to Wal Mart.  Well, I need a nap now,  Huggs, (arms length

Congrats on your surgery tomorrow.  I just realized there were very few of you guys in here.  Good luck and keep us posted.

So glad you got to eat something that tastes good and so happy you're starting to feel better too!  Hope you have a GREAT day!

Good for you. I eat greek yogurt with splenda and a teaspoon of sugar free blackberry jam every morning, since the second week after surgery. Hope everyday is better for you.

I've seen a few men here and there. Lots on the exercise portion of this forum. Maybe they are more comfortable posting after they have lost the weight?

Congrats for finding the greek yogurt. I love it and eat it all the time. Keep being creative with your flavorings and you will keep enjoying it.

Oh and I am another man. But you know us men: stubborn and hate to ask for help, especially on a forum that is 80-90% women.

I don't have the statistics but I would bet that at least 3/4 of people who do WLS are women.

1.  Men tend to hate going to the doctor and especially hate listening to him/her.
2.  Society is quite unfair.  A fat man is discriminated against a lot less than a fat woman.
3.  In general we're less in touch with our bodies.  Well ok ...not completely, we do have the palm hair to prove that :)

I imagine this is reflected in the male/female ratio on OH.
