Anybody else...a little TMI

Whenever I eat anything lately, or even have a shake, I hear and feel the entire digestive process, to point where I know when I'll be going to the bathroom next. I can tell when it is leaving my pouch, and can hear and feel the progression, all the way through my intestines, and when it pushes other food through, to get to where I have to "go". It's like I eat something and after about 30 min of the food traveling...Bam...there it goes, time to go make room for the next meal! I used to be kind of like that pre-op. I would eat and a little later it was time to go. After I had my surgery, the surgeon came in and listened to my bowel sounds with his stethascope, before I went down for the leakage x-rays, and he said, "wow, your bowels are moving greatly. That's very good." (his english was funny!) Well jeez, I didnt think they were gonna work this good. Does anybody else do this, or ever experience this before? I'm not worried that anything is wrong, I'm just curious if its just me.
I only strive to be, the kind of person my dogs think I am!

I notice that your surgery was recent.  When I was on my post-op liquid diet, I couldn't necessarily hear the process, but you could almost set a watch to the fact that 1/2 an hour after finishing a liquid meal I'd need to use the bathroom.

Well, this happens to me at times and I am about 18 months out!  I think it's just normal, we don't have the muscle at the bottom of our stomach to control how food empties and some "slider" foods just slide right through and our intestines kick into overdrive!.  It usually happens after I eat foods that pass through very easily like yogurt and some soups.  My stomach makes ALL kinds of gurgling noises then....  Luckily it doesn't make me sick or anything, I find the gurgliing kind of comical!
