nausea... sitting at my surgeon's office for 6 hours...

I have had horrible nausea for a month now. IT's been increasing in severity. I was requested to go to my surgeons office this morning, after waking up choking on my food last night, 7 hours after eating. Then vomitting breakfast this morning. Oatmeal. How can one take to big a bite of oatmeal. Anyway, i get there and it's labs and peeing in a cup. Then it's oh you're going for a ct scan. So here I sit, waiting on my surgeon and in my underwear. Oh what fun we're having here today. I think I'm overtired... I know I'm dehydrated. Waiting on the decision if I get to go home or stay here. Hoping for home. Time will tell. UGH

Probably having you wait so that your system is clear of food so they can get a better looksee at your innards.... might be a stricture but sounds likke they're being more thorough than usual.

I'm home... trying to sip on liquids. Not one word from my surgeon or god forbid a script for nausea meds. I feel like crap. Last I heard I go back monday morning at 8:30 am for an upper gi. Don't know for sure.

For what it's worth... i've lost 3 pounds today...LOL. Weighed in naked at 210 this morning... am 207.
