HA!  Luckily they don't sell them in the courtyard, so they're easy to bypass.  What gets me is when the Men's Group sells tamales and brisket.  I just can't walk away then.  A half brisket and 6 tamales keeps the 2 of us eating all week!

Brisket..you are killing me! At least it's a great source of protein. They don't know how to cook them up here. They are dry and tasteless. When I visit my sister in Austin I eat BBQ and Mexican the whole time.

I don't blame you!  Nothing beats Texas BBQ and Tex-Mex!  The men smoke the brisket for hours and if it's not bad enough that you can smell it coming into the service, the pastor is not above having them walk through the aisles during the beginning of service to boost sales.  LOL

My father's sister visited us for her birthday last year from Michigan.  We took her out for BBQ and my father told her to order the brisket plate.  She said "I would if I knew what brisket was" and he replied "It's beef.  it's good.  Order it already."  LOL

I spent a week in Seattle a few years ago (I was stuck doing lab tests at Swedish but they let us roam in between).  I fell in love a grinder I found at Pike's Place and we spent one of the most beautiful afternoons at a restaurant on Lake Tacoma.  We spent hours jus****ching the water and sipping iced tea.

Thank you all!  Yes I'm feeling fantastic these days.  My poor little twig legs are finally looking like they belong on me again and I'm moving around just like any other person on Earth.  Sitting at a regular desk in school without a worry whether I'll fit or not.  Sleeping willy nilly without having to find that position where I'm suffocating from my own fat pads.  Actually posting my picture on Facebook for the first time ever.  All kinds things that I haven't done in years and years.  I'm down to what I weighed about 10 years ago and I'm wearing it a lot better this time around.
