crunches and minor ab pain....?

Hey.

I haven't really moved crunches into my exercise routine but my yoga class last night did a move that was similar to crunches (with long holds in the "crunch" position). When doing this, my incision areas hurt a little bit (so I stopped and sat the move out after two rounds). I had my RNY 10/15/10, and had my gallbladder removed 2/15/11.

Now one of my original incisions wasn't re-used and it hurt just like the re-opened and new ones used for the gallbladder. It wasn't a horrible pain, and didn't linger once I moved out of the position but I didn't want to risk anything.

Am I just being a baby, will these muscles always feel a little different and it's nothing to worry about if the pain isn't really bad? Or how long do they take to heal all the way through and make crunches and stuff safe?
