Easy peasy protein snack

Not sure if this is on anybody's cooking blog or whatever but, I dont think it would be because there is NO cooking! This good for newbie post-ops or vets you just want a small protein packed snack! I happen to LUV Jello's dulche leche flavored pudding. It would work for any pudding though. I take either my unflavored protein or vanilla, it depends on what flavor pudding you like, and put a scoop full in a small bowl. Then add just a very little amount of water to it, and mix it thouroughly(sp****il there are no lumps. Let it sit for about 5 min and let it "firm up". Put your pudding in a bowl and then add the protein mixture you just made and stir the crap out of it until it is all mixed up. Eat up! It makes a very good high protein snack without having to go through a whole shake. It's only about 3 1/2 oz. The way I fix mine I get 26g of protein in that little delicious snack. If you cant fini**** save it for later, even being 2 snacks it packs a protein punch.
Tip: make sure you use a very small bowl bowl to put your scoop of protein in, because if you put it in a regular sized bowl, it will cause you to put too much water in it.
DO NOT put too much water in it! It only takes a very small amount to turn 1 scoop into a pudding consistancy.
Use a miniature wisk to mix the protein and water. If you do not have one a fork works better.

I have been adding unflavored whey to my cup of caramel sugar free pudding for Nik's salted caramel dessert. The powder I use mixes very well, although I only use 1 tablespoon. I may give it a try with a scoop of vanilla your way and see how I like it.
I also add 2 scoops of protein powder when I make a box of sugar free pudding.

With th instant pudding you don't have to boil water.  I mix two scoops of protein powder with the dried pudding mix and then wisk in the milk......will have to try your way though with the prepared individual cups.......my amounts are still small though as far as eating.

This sounds tasty.  What brand of powder do you use?  I'm still looking for one I don't hate.

For the flavor pudding I like I use Vanilla Body Fortress from Wal-Mart. It's like $13 ea or 3 for $35. Cheap and it really does taste good as well. I dont like chocolate or strawberry flavored stuff, so I dont know about that but, I love the vanilla and cookies N' cream. I also have Now Foods unflavored powder but I just got it in the mail on Thursday and havent used it yet.
