Anyone having RNY early May? :)

I'm having my surgery Monday, May 2nd and I'd love to get some friends that are also having it around that time!  

I'm nervous occasionally but mostly very excited!  I have a 1-week pre-op diet I'll be going on.  It may sound strange but the ONE thing I'm MOST scared about is HOW I will treat my headaches after surgery.  I take Excedrin 3-4 times a week....stopping migraines before they progress into debilitating pain.  Knowing I can no longer take NSAIDs worries me, Tylenol never works.

I'm having my surgery a week before you.  I also have migraines.  I talk Maxalt which is GREAT because it melts under your tongue.  I would love to talk!

I'm having surgery on May 10th and am feeling the same as you are; nervous and excited! 

I didn't have to do any pre-op dieting, although I do know I have to get some samples of the protein drinks beforehand, and am not looking forward to that!    But I am ready!

I'm sure that someone on the forum will answer your question about aspirin, everyone here is just so supportive! 

 I am having surgery May 9th!  I am so ready for this life changing event.  I am finding it a little stressful at the moment.  3 weeks away from finishing my second degree and career change and as soon as finals are done, off to the OR I go.  Stressed, nervous, excited.  I thinking the timing is just right as my wish list for Santa this year will be a new wardrobe from the normal sized people's section  :)

I am a little later in the month,.. May 19,. but sooo excited and looking for friends for this journey as well! Are you able to take any homeopathic meds for your headaches?
