OK, so I have my 2 week post op appt tomorrow.  Well, I have been feeling like crap prior to WLS.  I was fat and nothing I had fit.  So I only wore onepairof jeans.  All my dress clothes hung neatly in the closet weighting for me to fit them again.   Well, I have lost 22.2 lbs and decided to see if something fit.  I tried on the pants and-YES.  I tried on the blouse-YES.  Haha, I have a complete outfit I can wear out for business, or drs.  I am very psyched.

Well I want to know how do you feel? Have you experienced any pain these past 2 weeks? I just want to know. From reading other posts I know everyone is different. I guess you are still on liquids too. Do you have any suggestions as to which protein drinks you are able to tolerate?

Thanks

I had surgery on the same day.  I went on blended food today.  I've been drinking EAS shakes for the past week and they worked very well for me.  I got a little sick feeling when I drank them too fast but I think that's expected.  Good luck!

hey there.  I was in horrid pain for about 4 days or so.  I can truly say I am about 90% now and everyday feeling better.  As far as food I am on soft foods.  I really try but it is hard.  Today was the first day I got 64 oz water.  And i forced myself.  I make a protein shake in the morning with protein 1% milk and hazelnut instant coffee and splenda.  Delish.  I couldnt drink it any other way.  Good luck to you.  Drop me a line if you have questions.

I love it when something fits again. I also love it when I have to get new clothes because everything's too big. I put on some shorts to put up the Christmas lights last year (living in Houston, that's how we do it) and had to come back in and change. I got up on the ladder with my arms above my head, and the shorts literally fell off me. Hahaha. :) Congratulations!

As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we will walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over again the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives. -- Thoreau
