Help!!!

I have had diarreha tonight but it's all green. Is this possibly a stomach (pouch) cold from all the ice and popsicles I've been eating?  Do I need to call the Doctor? I'm only 6 days out.

i'm not an expert or anything but green usually means you took in more iron then you could process.

I don't take any vitamins yet.  I'm on clear liquids.

I was green for a while.  Give it a couple of days.  The green could be bile.  If it is not better by Friday or so, call.  And make sure that you are drinking.  Diarrhea often leads to dehydration.  It happened to me and it sucked.

 Since I started drinking the protein shakes I noted the green color also.  But if this isn't something you're comfortable with just call the dr's office.  They won't mind and it will ease your mind.

I had diarrhea and it was green for prob first 7-10 days. Diarrhea because you are only taking in fluid, fluid in = fluid out! Green from either soup broth, jello, fluid colors..... or Bile!! Its ALL ok!!

 This might sound gross, but keep a journal about your bowel movements.  Chances are it's just from food coloring in the popcicles.  But keeping a journal will help your doctor.

The 'grape' flavor, or color, causes green bowel movements. I love this flavor so I've had a lot of them, ha!

Thanks all.  I never thought about the coloring of the popsicles.  I did have a great deal of grape colored intake today.  The journal idea is great too. I reall y appreciate all of input and advice.  Really has eased my mind.

i asked my nurse when they called to check on me, i was having very dark, dark watery BM and she said that green to dark is very usualy, which is what i thought, i did not call them but they called to check on my so since they were on the phone i just asked...today is a yellowish green....go figure....
we all have a keen interested in our poop now days.. ha ha
