Gum, Ham, & Poop...few questions
I was getting ready to take a bite of my eggs and cheese when I remembered I had a peice of gum in my mouth. So naturally, as I would sometimes pre-op mostly when confronted with food, I swallowed it!! Damn, I told myself not to a million times. Anyway, I ate my eggs anyway and 45 min later started drinking. Just really hot and queasy for a few min and my chest had pressure, but now I feel o.k. Anybody else done this and what happened? Nothing I hope.
Next, my mother is cooking a ham for supper tonight. Is ham o.k. to eat? I'm cleared to have anything I want within reason and I tolerated baked pork chops o.k. So, is it too stringy of a meat or am I good to go?
Lastly, a TMI question. My poop was a pretty grass green color. Does anyone know what that is indicative of? Again, hopefully nothing. I do put various flavor sticks in my water, but it's never turned my poo different colors!!
Any advice on any of these would be appriciated!!!
As far as the ham goes....I really haven't done much in the way of meat, but I would think if you are really careful and say the ABC's while you chew each bite, you would be okay--if not, your body will tell you!!
And well, the poop....I'm really not sure on that one. If it persists, you might want to call the dr on that one too. I wouldn't worry about a one time color change...unless it's red!!!
Good luck!
