Question about gallbladder removal and hernia repari

I had my gallbladder removed and my surgeon also repaired a hernia above my belly button. I have a lot of swelling in my stomach and was wondering if this is normal. I will call my surgeon in the morning. But I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

I had all three done at once, too.  I had lots of swelling and still do have some (I'm six weeks out of surgery).  Surgeon said it would be months before it all goes down.  Call your surgeon if you're concerned, though.  You've been through a lot and if you have questions, don't hesitate to give them a call.
