I did use weights for about two years but because it really doesn't burn much calorically I put my emphasis on cardio. I am trying to get the weights back on board as we speak-- I intend to get some power back in the machine! I also walk a lot and do a lot of mindless wandering and futzing about. ;)

Man, I love food more than ever! I stopped posting my daily menus because they are ridiculously drool worthy. On a typical day, I eat double chocolate oatmeal, a salad with spinach, chicken, crans and bleu, a porkchop with pineapple salsa, an apple, a rice cake with valencia peanut butter, cheesecake greek yogurt, a pint of arctic zero ice cream, a bag of popcorn, it's sorta ridiculous--- and 120 oz of coffee!

hehe.... you make my "I love food" diet look monastic in comparison..... fage-n-berries, WLS-friendly lasagna, quiche, minute muffin, and protein shakes.

But my newfound love of food is firmly balanced with my hatred of dishes and hatred of spending very much time MAKING food.

Happy Surgiversary Shari - you are looking fabulous. I'm just getting ready to have some plastics, but don't think I will do much with the lower body (except cover it up.)

My actual surgiversary is in July, this is just the anniversary of weight loss in general, but hey, thanks, Penny! I can't wear shorts at all, my legs are really kinda gross, but from the waist up they helped me put myself back together failry nicely-- better than I had any right to hope for-- I try to honor that by keeping it all in shape! And I have Serena WIlliam's ass, which is a major plus. Hope she's doing okay without it. ;)

Wow !! Thank you so much for taking the time to post that. You look amazing!! Congrats..When I think about the journey that I've just started, I'm scared but also excited. I've been taking this recovery time to talk to myself about how I got this way and why I don't want to come back and what I have to do to make that happen. Thank you!
