I'm happy, down 12 # since last pre op visit.  Was advanced to pureed stage for a week then on the soft stage fpr a week and then onto regular food.  Wow, I didn't realize that it would go that fast and I've stocked up on a lot of cream soups and refried fat free be'm so excited that things are going well.  I do still have pain in the left side and the Dr. gave a script for pain meds.  I just hop I continur to progress with the weight loss.  I am so afraid of eating foods again and gaining rather than losing.

Congrats to you!  I was scared to eat at first as well.  You will be fine...just listen to your body.

Congrats to you.  Wow, I have Dr. Felix and he has me on pureed for 2 - 3 weeks.  I am jeleous.  I just started puree yesterday and everything seems to be working well.

Thanks.  Yes I was a bit confused myself, especially when our binder says something completely different.  I also had stocked up on a lot of cram soups, etc thinking I was to be on pureed for a longer period of time.  Believe me I am scared to think that he has me eating regular in three weeks.

As long as you listen to your body you should be fine.  I have had no problems with anything I have eaten.  Yogurt really fills me up for a while.  At first I wasn't sure if I could figure out if I was eating too much, I was able to eat the full 1/4 cup of anything I tried, but trying eating 1/4 yogurt told me I could not eat it all.  I think we are all different and have to understand our new stomachs.  .
