new to board

HI I am janice I had a revision to RNY on the 14th of this month. So still vry new to this..

I have a question regading severe lower abdominal pain. It seems i have gas it is so painful i am using Gas X but very little help. If i wasnt so dizzy i could handle it.. any one with similar issues ?? or suggestions ?

Walking as much as you can (even just frequent, short "laps" around whatever areas in your house have the most room) will help dissipate the gas.  Are you getting in enough fluids (dizziness is one of the early indicators of dehydration)?

Welcome to the board.  I did what Lora says above and used GasX a lot.  It WILL get better!

Had mine on the 4th april and walking lots helps, crawling on all fours also helps the gas move on out, it gets easier with time and welcome to the board :)

Thanks so much for ur help.. I have been taking short walks today and yes it is helping :) and thanks for welcoming me.
