You will not find a better product than Arbonne Intelligence Thermal Fusion Hair & Scalp Revitalizer. You can buy it now at Amazon. This is my gift to anyone that I know who is having weight loss surgery. They use herbal DHT blockers. It blocks the DHT and also makes the hair look and feel wonderful.
Another excellent product is Nioxon System 4 shampoo and conditioner. It is meant for color treated hair and also makes the hair look healthy and shiny. There are many products sold over the internet. They may or may not work.
The side effect of the prescription product Procepia is decreased sex drive in men and possible birth defects in women who are pregnant with male babies. Procepia is not prescribed for women and should not be taken by women. There is a Rogaine product for women. My advice would be to just use the Arbonne. A tube in less than $25 and will last for three to six months. You only use a tiny amount after shampooing.
I am 5 months and 2 weeks out and i started losing hair about 2 months ago. by the handful.
And i got the right protein, took the vitamins etc. mine has slowed a bit but still coming out.
weird thing is I know before surgeryt ath i never ate the amount of protein i do now and my hair never fell out then? weird huh. i make sure i eat at least 50g a day and then drink a boost calorie smart ( 4g sugar and 16 g protein) 2 times a day so i am getting 80+g a day.

My hair started falling out around 2 months from surgery. I'm now just over 3 months out and its still coming out. I am using Nixion shampoo and conditioner and also Rogaine. Not sure if either are helping but I figure its worth a shot.
I lost a lot of hair once before when I stopped taking birth control pills for a month. I lost hair for about 6 months after. I figure I will have another few months to go before it stops this time.
I am the only one who notices my hair is thinning out. There is a natural part in down my head that is extra wide now but you don't notice if all my hair is down or in a ponytail.

Thank you all. I am getting my protein in, have been taking biotin since before surgery, etc. So far, no one's noticed it but me, BUT it's scary and it only just started. I wouldn't have a problem going much shorter after I lose a few more pounds. My face was a lot chubbier than it is now, but it's still a little chubby therefore I am scared it would look weird (short hair) on me. But if it thins out a little more I would be willing to go much shorter. Right now my hair is very long (almost to the waistband of my pants), but my hair has always grown very fast, hopefully it continues to do so lol. Thank you for all the imput and advice :)
