Help, Please!

Okay I have a question. I had surgery on 4/4/11. I have been doing fine except for the last week, week and a half. I cannot drink or eat when I wake up in the mornings. I am a school bus driver and I wake up at 5am. If I try to eat or drink it all comes right back up.  But if I wait till later on in the day I am fine and have no problems.  WHY???

I have not had my surgery yet, but I have read that alot of people have problems in the morning and that they drink some warm tea and that seems to help

At 6 years out I have to be careful early in the morning drinking.  I can't eat or drin****il I have a warm beverage to drink first.

my pouchie has to have a little wake up time!  i still get pretty queezy 'bout every morning....it lasts for about 15 minutes and goes away. 

Same goes for me,,, it needs time to wake up....lol....

Doc told me to drink something hot... and it usually helps

So is coffee completly off the menu period. I know you are not allowed to have it after the surgery. I was wondering if later on down the road could you slip it back in? Or is it absolutely off the menu.

My nut said I can have Decaf coffee after surgery

ITs caffeine that is really the nono- decaf coffee is ok.....I have a cup of decaf every morning and a cup of half decaf/half regular everyother day as a special treat....

I have always drank coffee with caffeine, just don't drink as much as I use to ( also have less bathroom trips which is nice)
