Do the sizes at Cato run big?

I was in there today looking for some shorts and was super excited to be trying on size 24's.  Imagine my shock when the 24's were to BIG!  I was almost dancing to be able to put on size 22 and them be comfy.  Oh yeah!  Happy dance!

Now I'm wondering if maybe the sizes at Cato just run big.... Anybody know?

 I can't say about the sizing at Cato because I have never heard of that shop but I just wanted to say Congrats and that I am doing the happy dance for you too :)

Cato's jeans run big on me.  I wear an 18 usually in all my other jeans, but my Cato jeans are 20's.  So if you are in 22's I bet you could wear 20's in other brands.

Gasp!  My heart pounds at the mere thought of 20's.  But you know what?  I'm feeling pretty brave after today.  Tomorrow, I might just give it a shot!

I would definitely try it!  Most of my 18's are from Old Navy if that makes a difference.  Cato's shirts run big on me too.  Normally I need a  2x to hold in the girls, but their XL tops fit me pretty well. 

Well, I gave it a go but the 20's were still too small.  That's ok though.  I'm perfectly happy with the 22.  Well, for a few more weeks anyway.  {{smiles}}
