ok, I'm home... now what ???
I had difficulty my first week with getting anything down (liquids included), even before I was trying to do pureed foods. Then I re-read my week one instructions and it was "a sip every 30 sec to 1 min". So I was sipping too quickly and my system just couldn't handle quick influx. Maybe try to take it slower and you'll get them down. I kept myself out of the ER, so that was a marker for success for me....
To comment on the puking part, I've never been good at throwing up - slow gag reflex or something - so when food's not agreed with me or ate WAY too fast and I wanted to get it out, I couldn't. It's not all it's cracked up to be.... I guess it's a blessing in disguise?
Awesome that your dr gave you Roxicet. I only had a weeks worth of Tylenol w/ codine so just been taking children's s/f tylenol since then. It gets better....
