Another Victory - although some may disagree

Hubby and I went to Applebee's.

I had the sizzlin asian shrimp.  I ate about 8 shrimp, some of the crunchie noodles on top, about 2T of rice  (there was probably 2 cups on the plate) and 2 snow peas.  It was great!  Hubby got some of the twisted potatoes (kind of like homemade fries) as an appetizer.  I had about 5 of them.  I was so satisfied!  I brought shrimp and veggies and about 3T rice home.

Before:  I'd have been in a competition with hubby to see who could eat the most of the twisted potato chips, would have had the entire entree AND would have had the chocolate lava cake!!!  (and might have had french onion soup too)

The total for the entree is 880 cals - but I did not eat the bulk of the rice and sauce, and brought at least 12 shrimp home.

I feel great about the choice I made and my control over what i ate of it!

Isn't this tool great!  At Easter, I ate what everyone else ate just wayyy less.  I didn't feel deprived at all.  I was just as satisfied as if I had eaten a whole plate (or two)  Congrats on making good choices at the restaurant.  Love that we can now eat off one meal for days, LOL!!!
