Pizza topping

We had a luncheon at work today.  They bought in salad, bread sticks and pizzas.  I am on soft/mushy foods.  So I had the topping off of a couple slices of pizza and threw the rest away.  Did I do the right thing?  Not permitted greens or raw veggies yet.

I did this once early out---did the fat make you sick? That would be my only observation at this point; the toppings probably had a lot of fat. Good call skipping the crust and dough.

Soft mushy foods are tough. My best tool is to always have food that is on my plan with me. so I am left in the cold with nothing to eat or left with only a choice I will regret later. I have two really cute Vera Bradley lunch totes and take one everywhere I go with a few goodies in it.

All my best!

Pizza is my favorite. I've often thought about having the toppings of it (just the cheese and pepporoni) but haven't. I wouldn't worry too much about it. You didn't get sick.

Smithy......... I am obsessed with Vera Bradley! I have a ton. Probably too much!

Wow, pizza and Vera Bradley, now those are topics I like. LOL

Im a little upset yall didnt say it was ok. I'd be in heaven if I could have the toppings. Even a pepperoni.

And i've been eyeing the lunch tote too. Adding it to my list of RNY must haves.

We are only a week apart and I have done that but I only did it to a half a piece. I used a paper towel to dab off the grease off the cheese. nothing happened to me either. I would jus****ch the pepperoni and other toppings make sure you chew them to mush.

Just dont make it an everyday thing is all.
