Yesterday I got approved and this morning, I got another call from the surgeon's office and she said "I'm calling to schedule your surgery date." I was like huh? what? huh? Then I calmly said "Oh my God, ok, yeah, let's do that."

So, she says, the next available date is (and here I'm thinking June, July) May 24th.

"DONE!" I practically shouted.

May 24th. My life is going to change forever May 24th.

Guess what?! That is 4 days before my birthday. Happy birthday to me!

Just out of curiosity, how long did you have to wait for insurance to approve the surgery?

It took 8 days to approve. Pretty quick I guess! It didn't seem to take long at all.
