I have some phobias about food right now because I don't want to get anything stuck.  I had roast beef the other day and panic and chewed like crazy.

I'd like to know when you started to eat nuts, I'd love to eat some almonds for a snack and add'l protein.

Oh I am two months post op.

my NUT's list said after week 9 and when most foods are well tolerated.I am not going to lie i am 7weeks out and i tried some the other night just chewed really well. If i waitied til most foods were tolerated well i would never have them. My pouch is so grumpy i swear one day it likes one thing the next it doesn't and it goes on and on like that lol

my food plan is not to have nuts, starches, or grains until i am 6 months out...but i have had some whole wheat double fiber toast, i have had some kashi go lean cereal, lots of protein and fiber...i need to have some fiber and want it naturally, not just thru benefiber....i have had some cashews and almonds, but just a few, in order to have some fiber in order to avoid the constipation, i just had one a couple of weeks ago, and i do not want to go down that road again....i am trying to stick with what my food plan has for me..but i just needed to add some fiber in order to keep things going..
have a great day
