i need some ideas for dinner tonight. this week was food trials so i'm basically at eating pretty much anything in moderation minus raw vegetables. i can try lettuce and cucumber but i haven't yet. i'm contemplating eggfaces: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2008/03/bacon-and-swiss-bites.html

but i haven't had pork yet. tuesday i can start lean porks. anyone have any ideas on what to substitute instead of bacon..although i guess turkey bacon could suffice. however i don't have all those ingredients so i may make that tomorrow.

but what i do have, can anyone make any suggestions with eggs(regular and hard boiled), ricotta cheese, pasta sauce, chicken cutlets, lf shredded cheese, low sodium deli turkey, tuna?

i'm also wondering if ordering chicken and garlic sauce(or chicken and vegetables) from the chinese place, or shrimp sushi(minus the rice). i know i can have chicken but i don't know if the sauce from chinese food is high in fat or not

i just no time to make dinner tonite so chinese food it was and i had the "happy family" special with brown sauce on the side and steamed..it was yummy. i controlled how much sauce i put on it and i had a spoon full of white rice (i wouldnt suggest this unless you know you will be ok with rice) but the beef, chicken, pork and shrimp with broc and snow peas was great...im stuffed!!
eggs are still not my friends and ive given up on them :(
when i make pasta like dishes for my hubby i take some of the meat aside for me and put some ricotta and then add the pasta for him..pasta goes down ok but i notice 2-3 bites and im tooo full.
i also bought a pressure cooker and its my new best friend. throw all your ingred in and in 20 mins you have dinner ready!
good luck :)
