7wks out Today... How MUCH should I be eating?

I know everybody's Dr. says something different, but please feel free to weigh in. When I first came home, they were very specific about HOW MUCH I was supposed to be eating at EACH MEAL (2 Tbl protein, 2 Tbl soft fruit or veggies). No way to screw that up. Now that I have graduated onto a mostly regular diet, I've been told what I CAN and SHOULDN'T be eating, but not how much. Should I stay with the 2Tbl of each to be on the safe side? Should I keep eating until I get my "full signal" and stop? I kind of do a combination now - even if I haven't "finished" my 2Tbl portions, if I get the full signal I stop eating.

I don't want to sabotage my weight loss, but I don't want end up on the short end nutrition-wise either.

Thanks guys!

I'm a week further out than you and I was told 800 calories and 60-80 grams of protein.  Portion size doesn't work for me because on any given day I could eat 2 bites or a 1/4 of a cup and be full or a 1/2 of a cup, it's not consistant so I stick with the 800 calories.

I counted  calories and protein after the first couple of weeks for almost a year.  Averaged 500-800 calories for the first few months, then finally got up to about 1000 calories some days!!
