I am suffering from the all too common "socks with rocks" effect!  My boobs are totally flat, saggy and horrible!  I tried on a few strapless bras today, and none of them gave me any lift/support.  I have a couple of cute summer dresses that I cannot wear until I find a good strapless bra.

Any one other there find one that supports saggy post-op bags of skin????

Try a water bra! They feel like real boobs! I am going to maintain for one year after goal, then I'm getting my boobs and tummy done.

Oh, man! I don't know where the money will come from, but I HAVE to get my boobs and tummy (and thighs and arms!) done!

In addition to trying on the bras today, I tried on a bathing suit.  Holy crap!  I look so much better than I ever did before in a suit.........except my boobs need steel support beams and my things look like two shar pei puppies (the ones with the wrinkly faces!) are hanging off of them.  Why is it that I have lost 140+ pounds, gone from a size 28 to a 12 and I look horrible!!!!!

So, do you have a specific brand of a water bra?

No, I don't own one yet. I've tried them on (different brands) at Dillards and They make my girls look good in clothes. What they look like without is pretty horrid. The shar pei comment is totally true! I went from a 42D to a 36/38 B. It's sad. I also have lots of excess skin next to my underarm area. It's really bad. Swim suit season is here and it will be the first time since I can remember I will not be wearing a cover up. I couldn't beleive that I actually 1/2 way liked the way I looked. Amazing really. Congrats on being so close to your goal! When I reach my goal, i am saving $ per month for one year that I mantain, and that is going to be my cosmetics $$. I know it's expensive but I really need it for my confidence.

I know exactly what you mean about needing cosmetics for confidence!  I think that when I was heavy I hated everything about how I looked and did lots of things to cover up.  Now, I actually like how I look a lot of the time, and as summer approaches, I am getting super self conscious about exposing skin.

Oh well, as my mom always says, it's a good problem to have!!

You need a longline strapless bra.

I thought of that...I wore one a few years ago as a bridesmaid.  But, I am trying to find something to wear under lightweight summer sun dresses.  I feel like a longline would be so uncomfortable!  I want to throw on a little dress and go to the park with my kids...

If they're as bad as mine, I don't think you'll find anything else that will work.  But I only have to worry about mine for six more weeks (I'm getting a lbl and bl the end of June).

I hope you find what you're looking for!!

Thanks!!  I'm almost 3 years out now so it is definitely time.  I need to feel completely human again.
