protein/vitamin popsicles

Just thought I'd share my latest creation.  I am still waiting for them to freeze so I can't tell you yet how they taste.

I bought some popsicle molds and got them today.  Each pop is about 3 oz.

I mixed grape frost Isopure with grape ENS.  I don't think Celebrate even makes grape anymore, just citrus and wild cherry (which are both really good) but I still have a ton of grape I bought a while back.  So that's what I used.

Then poured it into the popsicle molds.  Each 3 oz pop will give me approximately 5 grams protein and 1/2 a multivitamin.  And 250 mg calcium.

I can't wait for it to freeze so I can try it out.

OK, I got to try a couple bites.  Pretty good.  Mostly just tastes like grape popsicle.  You know how Isopure has that kinda weird aftertaste?  Not frozen, it doesn't.  Just tastes like a grape popsicle.

I'll try some other flavors over the next few days.

Do you think using syntrax nectar might work too? Sounds like an excellent summer treat to get protein in...thanks Kelly!!

I've made them with Nectar before and a little Crystal Light.  They turned out really well.  Very yummy, but I need to get a smaller popscicle mold.  Mine makes HUGE popsciles.  I can't eat one all at once.

I don't know why it wouldn't work.  I"m gonna try making them with all sorts of stuff.
