BK - believe it or not!
I know from reading posts that a lot of us are looking for healthy fast foods that we can tolerate well, taste good, and won't take us off plan. I went thru the drive through at Burger King today and got a salad with grilled chicken, and I must say - it was real good. Their grilled chicken has a better flavor and seems more moist to me than others I've tried. The ranch dressing was very good. Highly reccomend it.
I tried one the other day and you are right, it is pretty good. The chicken wasn't dry like it can be on their grilled chicken sandwich. I got the light Italian dressing but I can't eat the ranch because I am a dumper and it's just too much fat for me.
I love the Wendy's salads with grilled chicken. I really like that they have the 1/2 size now since all I pretty much eat is the chicken and some of the toppings. A little lettuce but not much because of pouch space contraints. :-)

The reason that the BK salad chicken tastes moister than the sandwich chicken is this -
The salad chicken is cooked on the broiler and immediatley cut up and put into a pouch with the seasonings and a small amount of water. It is then sealed in the pouch and refridgerated.
The sandwich chicken is typically cooked on the broiler, then put into a heated "holding" pan forever until someone orders it.
I worked at BK for 7+ years. If you ever want a fresh sandwich, order the chicken "off the broiler" and they (should) make it fresh. It takes a little longer (3-4 mins ish) but the taste is worth it.
