Seeking Vitamin Guru Advice- Low Iron (edited to add- and apparantly, low protein too!!)
Kelly:
I take Feosol 45 MG Carbonyl Iron with 1000 MC Vitamin C at night. (1 iron plus 2 C's). With that dose, I also take Mag-Ox and stool softener (mentioning in case any of those are blocking absorption).
Along with the 35 gram shake, I get most of my calories (about 800-1000) from meat, cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, and protein bars).
I have been feeling a bit tired lately (last month or so)... I chalked it up to International traveling (we went to Israel for 2.5 weeks), but now I wonder if its the switch to 1 shake a day.
At any rate, I really like the shakes so I am definitely going to "up" them. I bought some Nectar Fuzzy Navel Protein ... I think it's the pure whey isolate we are supposed to be shooting for.

What do you think about trying this? Alternate two of the Feosols one day, one the next, two the next, for a month or so.
And add another shake, since you like them. It sure won't hurt you. It's technically possible to get too much protein, but it's real hard to do.
The traveling might have made you tired, but low iron and low protein sure will make you tired, too.
Whatever you're doing with your B12, keep it up.
