Feeling a little down
45 lbs in 3 months....feeling a little down...I mean I just got to "onderland" yesterday so that feels really good but coming to grips with the fact that I will probably never reach 140 like I wanted too. I feel good, and much more confident already, just depressed that its not going to be what I thought it would be! I know Im not eating enough and sometimes going all day without eating...but Im just so not really hungry ( and other times im eating everything in sight) and I just dont know what to really eat. I love salads but i feel like I shouldnt be eating them. I havent been doing protein like I should either...Ugh i need to slap myself! LOL Im gonna check out the whats everyone eating thread...
Dont feel down, you should feel wonderful, down 45 lbs in 3 months that is great ... I had my RNY about 4 years ago and I struggle to get to the onderland. I saw it once and than moved and havent seen it since. How ever I have lost 120lbs and I am thankful for that ...
Today I woke up and started my morning right, I am having some greek yogurt to get my protein in.
Cheer up. we are beautiful women and are blessed and healthy... all reason to be happy
Eat right, eat simple, and eat often LOL.. just small meals

Well, if you've decided you won't get to 140, you won't. If you want to get to 140, you need to make a plan and work it to make sure it happens. It's up to you.
First off, you have to eat. Not being hungry isn't an excuse -- it's expected, so deal with it. Make yourself a schedule and eat when it's time, hungry or not. Did your doc or nutritionist give you a food plan? If so, follow it. If not, do some research. Here's a link to the nutritional guidelines on this site.

There's nothing wrong with salads as long your at a stage where your plan allows them, but you HAVE to get your protein in. It will help your weight loss and it's absolutely vital to your long-term health.

I am almost 5 months out and bounce between 80-90 lbs lost. You are doing fine loss wise, but you need to eat protein, protein, protein. I am never hungry, but you have to get that it. Your body will lose when you do. And drink your fluids.
If I get into a weight loss slump, I up the protein & fluids and it starts coming off again.
