Dumping Syndrome

I think of the 30% of RNYers who dump, MOST find it getting better over time. SOME find that it gets worse.

For ME, it gets worse over time and I'm more than three years out and I have Reactive Hypoglycemia.

 I'm so early out - the fear of dumping has made a big impression on me.  Navigating the food labels to determine the sugar is sometimes very challenging.  Especially, in dairy products.  I stood in the dairy section of the grocery store last night trying to figure out if Light Yogurt which has 23 grams of sugar would make me dump.  I decided I would forgo the yogurt because I didn't want to risk it.

Go with greek yogurt!  It's not to everybody's taste, I have to doctor mine.  Do a search on it here to find recipes or go to Nik's Bariatric Foodie blog and search for greek yogurt.  Kroger's Carbmaster yogurt has 8g protein, 4g carbs and I think 60 calories.  Carbmasters comes in some really good flavors too.
