orange juice

I occasionally have a small glass of pure, not-from-concentrate (or even the canned, "unsweetened') OJ.  Almost all of the concerntrated juices have added sugar.  I never have more than 6 ounces, though, because of the calories and the acidity.  I make sure I have a glass of water FIRST so I am not thirsty (otehrwise I down it very quickly and don't even enjoy it much).  I sometimees use the canned unsweetened kind to make popsicles (my grandmother used to do that when I was a kid, so it is a pleasant memory for me).

I drink it occasionally because 1) I really love natural OJ, and 2) one of the 5 things my pouch will not tolerate is the membrane around the individual segments of oranges, grapefruits, etc. (which makes me sad, LOL).  I have tried the SF Tang and one other orange flavored water mix (probably NOT the CL, since to me CL has a weird aftertase now) and the Tang is ok, but every now and then I want the real thing.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
