Bonjour!!! Ive missed yall as of late... being soo busy. My youngest graduates and my other is coming home for her mini break. They both are due back to college the 11th of July...then MAMA time... not sure how I'll manage. LOL... The youngest is LOVING her weight loss....
My eats for today will be moment to moment since Im in training all day then daughter's graduation practice.
Planning: peaches & cream oatmeal, mashed potatoes, a rib, corn on cob, shrimp & lobster pasta salad and of course my water.

Looking forward to the end of this seven day work schedule because I have the next four days off! Woo Hoo! My weight is still up five pounds and I don't know why....

Good Morning everyone!
Im thinking about changing up my eating. I had been writing everything down and tracking every single calorie and protein. Then for the past two weeks, I just kinda blew it all off...for whatever reason.
Yesterday I vowed to get my head back in the game. I struggled a little with food. I HAD to eat and I wasnt even hungry. I wish I could figure out whats going on inside this hard head of mine.
I DID get in a workout though. And Im proud I did that. I was back in the 220's this morning :) Going to try another workout on Comcast OnDemand tonight.
I think for the rest of the week, Im going to try to wing it and see how I do. Maybe try something different??
I did have a shake this morning.
Drinking coffee now

I have a small apple and some cucumber salad with me
I need to pick up some dinner on my way home. Nothing but frozen chicken and I just made some last night and I know the fam doesnt want it again.

Good Morning OH. work..work..work today. Then a great yoga workout. Trying to increase my exercise so been very active lately , feelinig good, sleeping great, lots of energy....Happy girl

B: cottage cheese with fresh strawberries and truvia
S: left over chinese vegies
L: Rib, fresh picked grean beans and a small scoop mashed potatoes.
S: choco roasted almonds (so yummmmmmy)
D: probably left over grean beans and potatoes and turkey kielbasa

B-Oikos caramel greek yogurt, Aykins day breal bar in cinnamon bun
L- Body Fortress vanilla/About Time cinnamon swirl, Torani SF french vanilla syrup,and Splenda
D- for the past 3 days it been browned lean ground beef w/ taco seasoning, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and a "glump" of Oikos vanilla greek yogurt(sub for sour cream
S- usually another protein shake but sometimes a Kashi Go Lean protein & fiber bar in chocolate caramel
S- Oikos caramel yogurt
Here lately I've been out of protein powder though, so I haven't been able to have those. I've tried a few of the ones I have that I don't jump up and down about, but couldn't drink them, so I had to pour them down the drain. I knew that I liked to have protein shakes, but I didn't realize exactly how much I would miss them! I'll be getting some in the mail soon though, thank the Lord, and an angel of a lady that is sending me some. (you know who you are!) I am one of those people who also really love my chewable vitamins too though. I guess that's one more weird quality I've got, but I don't care. Damn frickin heat! Schools closed early again today which means I had to hustle to find a place for the little diva to go (her after school program is housed in the school building and, thus, was also closed). Argh!
This evening she and I are to go to the Y. I am going to beat myself up in the gym (because I do really need that today) and then we'll both go swimming. La Grande Diva is still on her class trip.
Eats so far:
1. 2 eggs over medium + 1 slice of wheat toast with a few sprays of Olivio.
2. Chocolate Muscle Milk
3. Two lunchmeat roll ups w/ ham and roast beef with my beloved hummus in them (NOTE TO DIVA: I saw your message about the hummus on my phone but my home comp is acting stoopid. It's a hummus I got at the local farmer's market from a guy who makes it. It's called "Asian Fire." It is spicy and tangy and wonderful and worth every penny of the $5 I paid for it!)
4. Probably a Click cold latte over ice.
5. Not sure what's for dinner but I know that I am in the mood for tortilla pizza, so we shall see.
6. 1 cup Carbothin 4 frozen dessert (God bless you Shari for introducing me to this! 32 calories per half cup!) w/ a glob of fat-free whipped cream and a dusting of PB2. (Google Carbothin 4 for more info. Shari sent it to me so I am not sure where you actually get it).

I'm just seeing this now. I remember when Shari discovered the Carbothin. I ordered it from their website (both choc and vanilla flavors) but forgot how to make it, in terms of proportions. What do you do with it?
Also, I just got some Trader Joe's Creamy Roasted Garlic hummus to try and it is the BOMB! I was fascinated with the idea of you spreading it on the roll up. I might try it on some roasted chicken or a ham and cheese roll up, since I don't eat roast beef.

Hey Mary. Shari sent instructions that say 2 cups water + 1 cup of the mix. I used 2 cups Hood Calorie Countdown chocolate milk instead.
I like the Carbothin but want to make it with water to see if the consistency is different. As it stands it's kinda...gooey. A bit gooey-er than a pudding in fact. I am big on food aesthetics so while the taste is great and the stats can't be beat, that might be a road block for me! But I'm not sure if it's because I didn't use water.
The hummus roll up love continues. I have it today. One of my favorite things is to do 2 oz. deli meat with 1 tsp of hummus and strips of onion and bell pepper. NOM!
I'm trying to cut back on my cheese consumption. I get far too much of my protein from dairy. I need to diversify!
