So you want to be a normal BMI?
Are you out of your mind! I have no desire to be an IM. And Kook-aid makes me sick.
And that was before surgery.
I'm planning Goofy in 2014 when my youngest goes off to college.

Hey Paul! I love your post and you got it right on the head... I could careless about a normal BMI. When I found out that a normal BMI would put me in the low 120's range I almost passed out from holding my breath. My arbitrary goal for myself this whole time has always been 150 lbs. At 150, I will still be considered overweight by medical terms but I couldn't give a hoot! I am 164 now and I think I look and feel fabulous. I am far better mentally and physically than I was 10 months ago and I am so grateful for that state of being. As a matter of fact, even though I am striving to make my 150 lbs goal by my 1 year anniversary I am trying to take it only one pound at a time because there are days that I look in the mirror and think - Ohhhhh, this may be too much! But then, a few days later I catch an image of myself and things look better and I am glowing, which makes me want to keep pushing for my goal. So its one day at a time. We all want to reach our appointed goals, but as long as we try to be realistic and stay grounded then it will workout for the best!
Keep pushing for good health. Have a great weekend everyone!
