You so what you think is best.  However we have no reason to lie to you about this.  I suggest you do some research on your own.  After all, it is your body and your future.  Once you do the research you will find out that you probably need to find a new ND.

I hope things work out.

I suggest you google "ASMBS and calcium recommendations."  I think this will confirm that you should be taking 1500-2000 of calcium CITRATE daily.

You can also crush a regular multivitamin (as long as it is not coated and not 'time-release') and take it in a spoonful of yogurt or in a protein shake.

@Jennifer: Thank you for the info. I am well over 3 years out however, so I'm hoping I'm safe to take the traditional vitamins!

@Pat: Thanks for sharing! I never thought about eating them crushed with yogurt. I'll take any excuse to eat yogurt! LOL

I am almost 4 years out and since I wasw a year out have periodically gotten tired of the chewable vitamins and just taken two regular Centrum fro a while.  My labs (other than Vit K, which is an unusual personal issue) are fine.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
