Looks wonderful!! One of my favorite lunches is spicy tuna roll, and the place I go to will make it riceless with cucumber on the outside. What is the darker stuff at the bottom of the plate? Almost looks like a brownie.

Hi Scarlett, the dark food item on the plate is actually spicy sliced beets.  I got it the entire meal from Whole Foods Market.  I never had spicy beets.  It was delicious and my second time to purchase.
There is an express sushi restaurant near my workplace.  I will try the spicy tuna roll.
