Biotin question
From what I have been told, Biotin will not prevent hair loss, but will greatly help with the re-growth. And it WILL grow back. Not everyone loses hair in great losses and some only SEEM to lose a lot (seeing clumps in shower, etc) but it is not apparent to other people that you have lost hair.

I also meant to add that Biotin assists protein and fat metabolism for energy use. It also helps skin and nails in addition to the hair. According to what I have found, for a regular (non-WLS) male or female, minimum recommended doses of biotin are 30 mcg with no known maximum. I take 5000 mcg per day. Not necessarily planned that way, just what I already had at home. I would imagine a WLS patient would be recommended for the higher doses. Most multi vitamins already have about 45 mcg's and most bariatric multi-vitamins have around 600 mcg's. Hope that helpsyou find the range you want to shoot for.
