Is this good/normal?

 Actually I heard that it was myth that you can only absorb 30 grams of protein at a time.  You do need to spread it out through the day, though, so you can keep a steady supply going.
I hated protein drinks at first, too, then I started adding sugar free syrups and sugar free pudding mix and other things like almond milk.  Now I enjoy my protein drinks and look forward to them.  I also have some unflavored protein that I mix with things like sugar free pudding to increase the protein.
Also, don't forget to drink you fluids.  Not getting enough water will make you feel lousy.  Get in at least 64 oz a day.  I get in more then 100 oz and it really makes a difference.

I don't know how many grams of protein you can absorb at one time, but I have heard that you absorb more of it right after a workout.
