At this stage protein is important, but the 1245 calorie thing does not have to be that high. Be sure to take your multi-vitamins everyday, get in your protein with protein shakes, I think whey is the best protein for you right now, later you can try something else like muscle milk. Remember its different for everyone, just do what works for you and what you feel comfortable with. Good luck with your continued success.
