Okay wow... last couple days have been really crappy for me.. and its the first time I have questioned myself about my long term ability to make this WLS work.

Ive wanted to eat everything in sight for the last 2 days.... I have no clue what triggered this. this is the first time I have had this problem. I am writing everything down I eat. I am still sticking to my caloric intake recommendation (thank goodness).. drinking water like crazy... taking proper vitamins and supplements.

Could this be a PMS thing? I get the Depo shot though... so no actual period. I don't feel stressed... have the usual pressures at work, nothing new... I'm not depressed per-say, but nothing new in the last couple days... ugh im confused.

Any suggestions?

Could be a number of things.  You are approaching the 5 month mark.  Are you eating enough?  Are you still trying to stick with the same caloric restrictions from a few months ago?

As time progresses, so will your nutritional requirements, and especially if you are exercising.  You were never meant to live on 500 calories per day long term, so don't be scared to talk to your nutritionist to ensure you are eating the correct amount.

If this is an emotional issue, then you should try to figure out what triggered it and deal with that issue.....try not to medicate with food (I know, easier said than done).

The mere fact that you realize it and are addressing it is a great sign!  Wishing you the best.

Well if you don't think it is emotional eating have you changed your diet any?  Had any more simple carbs the last few days?  I ask because simple carbs are a trigger for me and if I eat them I try to eat everything in sight.   Doesn't take much to set me off, either.

And there are days where I do seem to be able to eat a great deal.  I don't really get hungry now but I maintain an empty feeling and I can have a couple days like that in a row now.  Big pouch days I beileve they are commonly referred to.

Sorry I don't have much else to offer.

I am going through the exact same thing right now.  I am at 6 months.  I feel like I could eat anything in the world and it just goes right down!!  Wanna PM??
