update to tasting blood post

So today I went and saw the gastro dr.... he said I am still too early out to have a scope done. ANd since I am NOT vomitting nor SEEING blood that is not much he can do until I do.

He said that more than likely its an ulcer that has developed. He upped my prevacid and started me on carafate..... I see him next week then I have the Upper GI mid July......

Just so ick feeling.... the carafate is icky but at least I can eat again without feeling nauseous.
