Will I eat raw veggies ever again?

I for some reason thought that raw veggies were going to be a no no for the rest of my life. I thought it would be to tough on my stomach and should be avoided. I am way too early out to dream of eating raw veggies but is there hope for them in the future?

I've been eating salad since I was a few months out.  No issues.  You should be able to eat them again!

there's hope for the future ALTHOUGH at 14 months post op.. I cant tolerate iceberg lettuce and the skins on MOST veggies like celery, tomatoes, onion film, green peppers, or carrots so I have to peel them first..

Absolutely!  I eat salad and other raw veggies all the time.  In fact, there's few foods that I can't eat now.  I eat raw bread, rice and pasta in very small amounts because they're very filling but other than that most things are fine.

I'm not sure why you though raw veggies weren't ok... I have never heard of anyone who cannot tolerate them.  Occasionally, people have trouble digesting the skins/peels of some veggies, though.
There are literally only 5 foods I cannot eat since my RNY and that includes the skin from SOME apples (but others are fine) and the membrane surrounding the invididual orange/grapefruit segments.  Eating raw carrots ALONE on an empty stomach also makes my pouch uncomfortable (I have NO idea why), but they are fine if I eat them with other food.

Raw veggies early post op can be very difficult to digest. High density of many veggies, harder consistency (carrots), etc. give many post ops difficult.  Eating limited quantities of them would be easier later. I'd initially try a salad with shaved carrots, cut tomatoes, etc.  You can usually eat a higher volume meal with a salad, as the lettuce is basically mostly water.  Celery stalks can still be troublesome for some.  Iceberg lettuce is suggested as the least desirable choice due to some digestive issues and it being the least nutritious form of lettuce. I've been eating raw tomatoes since about 2 months out, some salad but not a lot because there's not much nutri value on its own, and cucumber slices. I don't like raw peppers, and I'm afraid to try tougher veg like carrots/celery/broccoli at this point.
