I dont know about anyone else but my surgeon told me to call him if I had any fever over 101 in the first few weeks. I dont think it hurts to call and see what they want you to do.  Good luck.

I would call your surgeon. My rule was 100.5 and higher call them.

Def. would call your surgeons office.  My post op instructions were anything over 100.5.  It won't hurt to call,  just to make sure.

Good luck.  Hope all is well.

Call your surgeon.  Mine was very adamant about calling/paging him if I got a fever over 100.5.

I called the surgeon on call and he said to take the loratab and that should help with fever. Has anyone heard this before? He didn't seem too concerned since I'm not having any pain and liquids are going down. Did anyone experience this after surgery?

If you don't have any other symptoms other than the fever, that may be a sign of an infection somewhere. If you don't have any cold/flu symptoms you should be seen soon.

Are any of your incisions red, hot or swollen? Looking infected?
Something in your body is not happy and you should call your surgeon.
