Post Op, when did you buy your first fitted bra?
Unfortunately, ive always been a little bit big, I dont like it, but im stuck with them. Since loosing some lbs, they are sagging a little more than I like them to. I did go to Layne Bryant and buy what I thought was okay, because my other ones just dont fit anymore.
I am hesitant to spent big bucks on those fancy fitted bras, only because I am told I will loose more weight..
So when did you buy your first fitted bra? Should I wait until I know ive lost what I will loose?
For whatever reason, I'm not really losing in the breast area! The band size, yes, but not cup. Anyway, I refuse to compromise on bras and panties...I can wear hand-me-down, or thrift store clothes, but my bras have to fit nicely. I bought all my bras at Lane Bryant, so if you are not counting LB among those that you called "fitted bras", I'm not sure what you mean. If I have to spend any MORE on a bra than I do at LB, I will be broke!!!

I guess what I meant was I just went to LB and bought something that seemed to fit right and was on sale. I never asked the sales rep to fit me or find me one of their good bras.
I dont think I am loosing cup size either... at least im not sure. They are definately sagging and its bothering me...
I am just confused how they are sagging but dont seem smaller.

I had a lot of old bras from when i was gaining the weight (but discovered that the proportion was not quite right in many of them... too big in the band if the cups fit), so I wore those when i could, but bought new bras all along as necessary to make sure I had two bras that fit properly at all times (I and just did laundry much more frequently****il I settled into a size.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

At about 2 months out, I was in desperate need of a good new bra. I went to a local specialty store called Lady Grace. I think they are just in New England (but they also have an online catalog). I'm really glad that I did. They come in the fitting room and measure you and then go and get a few styles that suit you. She new what to get me and brought some styles with a bigger band and smaller cup and some styles with a smaller band and bigger cup. I was much smaller than I thought and would probably be walking around with saggy boobs had I not taken the plunge!!!
I got fitted and bought two bras that were extended with band extenders. This let me wear them down about 80 pounds unitl the cups were really just too big. But the ladies who fitted me really helped find a bra that would work with the extenders since I was loosing so much weight all at once. Since then I've realized sub-par bras just are not worth it. I was fitted at multiple stores until I found one I like at Dillards. Stupid bra was $80.00. But my back doesn't hurt and my boobs don't swing so it's well worth the investment.

I have just recently discovered i need to go and get some new bras... the girls are just sagging oto much! I can no longer wear just a cloth bra... I am going ot have ot go padded adn underwire to get them to look decent. I plan on going to VS's next week to be fitted adn get a bra or 2. But once I am sized I plan on buying them on ebay... you can get VS bras's for a fraction of the store cost. Last time I bought through ebay I got a 44D Racer Back that normally would have been $45 for $18.50 each!
