Can someone help me please
Ok we have moved recently and for the life of me I cannot find all my pre surgery paperwork. I will be 3 months out on July 4th. How many calories am I supposed to be consuming. I am losing weight just fine. I just have stalls every now and then and wondered if this could be why. And are you supposed to count liquid calories and solid calories. Because If I drink 3 protein shakes a day .. that right there is almost 500 calories .
At 3 months I'm supposed to be around 800 calories. You may want to cut a shake or two out and try to get your protein from food. I personally can't eat enough to get my protein from food so I drink a shake in the AM but it is only 90 calories. Liquid calories count towards your calorie count. A calorie is a calorie no matter how you ingest it.
3 shakes should be around 300 calories unless you are mixing them with milk.
We were told to not count calories but to track protein and fluid. By 3 months, you should be getting around 80 g of protein a day and at least 64oz of fluid. Your shakes count toward your fluid and your protein.
I still do 2 protein drinks a day and try to get over 100g of protein in. I didn't stall doing that. 4-5 meals a day, 2 oz protein, 2 oz veggie, 2 protein drinks a day will get you where you want to go.
